March 23, 2016: Maruti Suzuki has announced that deliveries of the much-anticipated Vitara Brezza will start from March 25th. The Indo-Japanese car maker also announced over 20,000 bookings for the same to date. Launched earlier this month, the Vitara Brezza is Maruti Suzuki’s first attempt in the competitive sub-4 metre compact SUV segment and competes against the likes of the Ford EcoSport and the Mahindra TUV300. It is only available with the 89 Bhp 1.3-litre four-cylinder DDiS 200 diesel engine that already powers the Ciaz and the S-Cross. The choice for transmission is also limited to just a 5-speed manual gearbox. Available in 7 variants, including a range-topping variant with a dual-tone colour scheme, the Brezza offers class-leading fuel efficiency of 24.3 kmpl.
